Our group focuses on

developing novel synthetic strategies that allow us to access natural and unnatural small molecules with biomedical value. In addition to the target-oriented synthesis of natural products, we are currently investigating the unprecedented reactivity of organic molecules based on new synthetic modalities, such as transition metal catalysis, photochemical or electrochemical mode of activation. Ultimately, we aim to expand the field of synthetic organic chemistry based on understanding the mechanistic features of the developed reactivity and make a profound impact on the neighboring research area.
